Overview

Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

  • Please contact us for a return request after delivery. The consignee must conduct a thorough inspection of all items and must note any damaged or incorrect items before signing for delivery.
  • Carpet: Variations and defects in weave, fiber size, color, and overall carpet dimensions (up to 2-3 inches in length and width) are normal features and are not considered manufacturing defects.
  • Color Note: As each computer monitor displays different colors, we are not responsible for the difference between the actual product color and how it appears on your screen. Merchandise descriptions, including color or tone, texture, and other characteristics are provided by the manufacturer; Gardensidefurn is not responsible for descriptions, discrepancies (including color or texture, minor defects), and/or products that do not meet customer satisfaction, defects not verified by the manufacturer assume any responsibility.

Exchanges due to damage or defects

If the ordered item is damaged, torn packaging, water damage, etc. during shipping. Please do not accept the shipment and indicate the reason for your refusal on the receipt and notify us within 24 hours to send a replacement order.

If your order arrives damaged or defective and you have not refused shipment. We will replace any damaged or defective carpet, home décor, or furniture. If you need to exchange it for the same item, please send an email to service@gardensidefurn.com, including your order number and a picture of the damage or defect. Once we have verified the defect or damage, we will contact you regarding your replacement and additional instructions.

Charges

If you return a defective product to us, but you fail to return all of the accessories that were sold with that product, we are entitled (subject to applicable law) to refuse the return, only to replace the item that you did return, or to estimate the value of the missing accessories and only to refund you in respect of the returned item.

If you return a product that does not comply with this policy, you may be liable to reimburse Gardensidefurn for the cost of collecting the product from you and the cost of having the product returned to you.

Order Canceling

We begin processing orders within 30 minutes after they are placed, which means you can cancel your orders 30 minutes after they are placed. We don’t accept order cancellation if your orders have been placed more than 30 minutes because orders that have been processed cannot be retrieved from the parcel pile. Please think carefully before you make an order. If you insist on canceling your orders, you can return the package to us after you received it. 

Refunds

Once we have processed your refund, you will receive an email notification. Please note that it may take 1-2 business days for the payment to show up in your account, depending on the card issuer.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Shipping Returns

To return your product, you should mail your product to 808 Anthony St.Berkeley, California 94710-2713.

You will be responsible for paying for your shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Gardensidefurn and the manufacturer of the product cannot and do not guarantee that any particular finish/color on any item will exactly match the same finish/color on a previously purchased item or on any item that may be seen locally.

WOOD PRODUCTS: Due to the natural characteristics of wood, variations in color, texture, grain, luster (gloss), and size may occur. These variations do not constitute grounds for return or compensation.

Leather Products: Leather is a natural product and is subject to markings such as scars, brands, wrinkles, grain variations, texture, and luster (gloss). As with any dyed material, dye lots will vary and cannot be guaranteed to be an exact color match to any sample or product you may have seen. Sample swatches should be interpreted as showing the approximate color, grain, sheen, and/or texture of the leather. These differences in leather do not constitute grounds for return or compensation.

Wrought Iron and Metal Products: The appearance of finishes may vary due to the uniqueness of paint dye batches, climate, and hand application. Many metal items are individually handcrafted and may undergo slight variations. These variations do not constitute grounds for return or compensation.

Rug Size Variations: While machine-made rugs typically vary in size by no more than 2 inches, handmade rugs can vary in size by up to 6 inches. All sizes listed on our website are approximate.

Carpets and other products: Gardensidefurn makes every effort to ensure that the colors shown in product images are accurate; however, individual monitor settings may affect the way images are displayed. Gardensidefurn assumes no responsibility for color distortion, and we encourage you to view products in person whenever possible – we have three excellent locations to serve you, and many (but not all) of the items shown online Many (but not all) of our items are in stock.
